Everyday I creep a little closer to the 120's. I think stressing about the wedding has definitely taken it's toll on me. My goal for today is just to relax, enjoy the kids and keep wishing for snow! I have 3 weigh ins to hit my goal of being in the 120's by New Year's Day. That is a .66666lb average for those days.... :/ so far my daily average has been .52lbs! I think I'll be cutting it close! but on the bright side...I am only 6.8lbs away from my goal of 125!!! I swear...I NEVER thought I'd see that weight again and here it is...only a couple weeks away!! I am so excited!

Well folks...I survived Christmas with a total of 1lb lost over yesterday and today! I was hoping to be in the 120's by new years day, but I'm not quite sure if I'll hit the mark. However, every day I lose I am that much closer! after gaining on my load up days I needed to lose 16.8lbs to hit 125...I have already lost 56% of what I needed to lose and I'm not even half way through P2 yet! I KNOW I'll hit my 125 goal, but 115 isn't looking too realistic at this point! but I'm gonna keep pushing through! only 7.4lbs til I hit my first goal and 17.4 til my ultimate goal!!!!

I survived Christmas! But boy was I tempted! Surrounded by sooo much good food...it was extremely hard to turn it down! I didn't realize just how much I ate on the holidays before....don't get me wrong..everyone over indulges on the holidays, but for how many times I had to fight with myself NOT to eat what I normally would made me realize just how lucky I am to be on my diet this holiday season! I'm only 2.9lbs away from breaking the 120's mark and I'm glad I didn't give in! 7.8lbs until I hit my goal and everyday I don't eat the food that I am so fond of brings me that much closer! I can't wait to step on the scale and see 125!!!

OK followers...get ready for this...I am a 100% complete IDIOT! You know how there are people that are GREAT at advice, but then rarely take there own????....well that person would be me...It has been brought to my attention that I have NOT been hitting my 500 cals like I thought because I got cocky and stopped weighing my food thinking I could tell by looking how much I was eating! Turns out I have only been consuming about 300 cals for the last week and a half AND exercising like a champ....low and behold a crazy stall in weight loss. I consumed 420 calories yesterday(realized too late that I hadn't hit my 500), did not go to the gym and had a #2 and I managed to lose 2.6lbs this morning!! that means I only have 9lbs to go til I hit my 125 goal and 19lbs to hit my 115! I am feeling more positive then ever!!! So some advice to you hcg-ers....WEIGH EVERYTHING YOU CONSUME!!! AND DO NOT CHEAT!!! Best advice I can give!!

I haven't posted in a couple days because quite honestly I haven't had much positive to say! I have been very frustrated lately and stressed. I did not want to end up bad talking the diet. I have made a few wrong choices in the last week(too much exercise, not enough sleep, not enough water). I am back on track and feeling positive. I am going to take a break from the gym...not the sauna and light cardio....just the resistance training! I know I am building muscle which is good, but it is also affecting my weight loss. I want to lose my weight first and if I gain from lean muscle mass after the diet.. then ok! :) I am keeping my head up and working hard to not discourage myself! I know I will hit my goal even if it doesn't happen for a couple more weeks!

All I can say is WTF?! I was sooo good yesterday! everything done to the "T". I even had a Christmas party I went to and SURVIVED! I did not touch a single thing I wasn't suppose to, I hit my calories and there was no late night snacking!!! I don't get it! I am so frustrated right now! I know a loss is a loss, but I have only lost 1.8lbs in 5 days! The first 4.2lb loss was all of the load weight, so I have only lost 1.8lbs off of my original weight!! I pray that tomorrow is better! It needs to be to keep me going!

I'm having a rough week! I worked out Monday with my trainer and it felt great, but for the last 3 days I have been in some serious pain. My calves are burning and I am having a hard time walking. Normally I wouldn't care, but it has put a serious damper on my mood. I am totally cranky and edgy. I can't play with the kids cause I am in so much pain, so I am constantly frustrated :( I lost 1.2lbs this morning, so you'd think I'd be jumping for joy, but I can't jump! I've been trying to keep myself busy, but I'm in too much pain to do anything! Instead I sit on the couch and read to the kids, but being lazy is making me hungry! I want to eat everything in the house!

Starting fresh!! I managed to lose all my load up weight the first day of the VLCD! I was worried it would take a couple days to get rid of, but now it's all lose-lose-lose from here! I am so excited! I can't wait to lose the remaining 22.6lbs! I am currently between sizes..8-10. I'm hoping when all is said and done that I'll be able to wear a size 6!! That would be amazing! I can definitely tell Ryan is enjoying the weight loss as well!! ;) He looks at me differently now! I am going to post one of my before pics from when I tried dieting on my own before mexico! The picture disgusts me but it is a great before to put with a current pic! At time of current pic I weighed what I weigh now! 137.6...That's Almost a 50lb difference! I am NEVER going back to that!

This was my lunch..Garlic french bread topped with tomato, turkey, avocado, bacon and cheddar cheese! It was totally yummy, but it sat very heavy!! and then there was dinner!!

I could not find a pic, but it was the new vino blanco Pan seared pork cappellini! It was amazing! I got full, but it was a "good" full. I am up 2.4lbs...ugh...but my first round of load days I gained 3.4lbs so....so far so good!! Today is my last load day!! woo hoo!

Alright my HCG diet followers! The day has come! Round 2 just started this morning! Super stoked at the moment! I weighed myself and Ryan took my measurements and the verdict is in.........

This number means not only was I able to maintain, but that I also LOST 6.2lbs in 5 weeks! woo hoo!!

So...All of these numbers are AWESOME!!! Since the end of R1-P2 I have lost...ON MY OWN...a total of 6.2lbs AND 5" of my bod!! So if you are still wondering if this diet works..STOP! These numbers should be proof that it doesn't only work while you are on it, but it works well after as long as you want it too!! :)

So far I have been maintaining! I am actually still down .8lbs from my LDW! On December 11th I will be starting round 2 and I am super stoked to lose my remaining 28.2lbs! I am starting to feel great and look great! Tonight I actually ran, when I say ran I mean RAN, a 5k on the treadmill! It was exhilarating!! I am no longer looking forward to being skinny;however, I AM looking forward to being fit and healthy! A new goal to add to the list is having a six pack by the time I'm 30!! 355 days to go! :)

So...I totally made it! One more day on Phase 3 and not only am I down 1lb from my last day weight( current weight=142.8), but today is also Thanksgiving! I enjoyed a few good dishes and I successfully stayed away from the mashed taters, rolls and stuffing!OH.....AND any and all desserts! I know...I'm a rock star!!! J/K! but I am proud of myself! :) this is the first Thanksgiving where I haven't left feeling like I am about to hurl! lol! 15 days to go before Round 2! I can not wait to shed the remaining 27.8lbs! woo hoo!

So....Phase 3 is not at all as hard as I thought it would be!! It is actually pretty easy. I am still making the right food choices and I also find that I crave healthy food! yeah..I know...WEIRD! I have been staying within my 2lb over/under. Some days I'm a hair above where I ended and some days are like this where I am up 1.8lbs, but I'm not worried about it at all! I'm exercising, eating healthy and that's what matters. I am still not eating sugars or carbs and quite honestly I don't really miss them! I am totally surprised by that! I have introduced some cheese, but not a lot. Just enough for a little bit of the cheese flavor. Usually less than an ounce. I have 11 days left on maintenance and then another 14 days til I get to start round 2! I can't wait to shed the remaining lbs! I have 20.6lbs to go, as of today, to hit my goal weight of 125, but I'm feeling greedy and I think I am going to push for another 10lbs to get me closer to 115! :)

For the next 5 weeks I will be eating 1100-1500 calories to program my metabolism to maintain my current weight! So far I am up 2lbs since my last day on the VLCD
:( However it is normal to gain a little and lose a little through out the maintenance phase (Phase 3). As long as my weight stays between 141.8 and 145.8 it's fine. As of this morning I weighed 145.8! If it is up again tomorrow I will do a steak day!

All I can say is WOW! I DID IT! I made it through the 2nd phase of the HCG diet! AND I feel GREAT!!! I could not have done it with out everybody's support! Thank you all SOOO much! I am now on to Phase 3 tomorrow which means I am now in control of my food choices!! SCARY! eating only 500 calories a day was hard at first, but as the days flew by, I started to realize how much easier it is to be told what to eat everyday! My diet was very restrictive! it told me what to it, how much to eat and did all the math work for me....NOW it's my turn! I have to pick the right foods, make the right amount and do the research! The next 5 weeks will be a true test of my will power, food knowledge and determination! My last weigh in is tomorrow morning along with my after photos and last measurements! YAY! I better see a difference damn it!! LOL I will keep in touch through this blog through out my maintenance phase, so I can let you all know how it goes! You guys have no idea just how good it feels for me to start something this intense and follow through to the bitter-sweet end! I feel like I have accomplished so much, but yet...it's still just the beginning of a long road ahead! I started this diet because I was determined to look like the pretty people on tv never ONCE considering how it would change me emotionally! Now it's not just about looking good, but feeling good about me!

Even though I had a weight GAIN today...I'm not discouraged! I did not cheat, but I did eat an apple late last night cause I was having a major sweet tooth! On top of that...Monday I did some pretty intense exercising and was down 2lbs Tuesday morning! All day yesterday I was dizzy and extremely light headed and all together not feeling very good! I am chalking the weight gain up to A. working out to hard and B. eating a high calorie fruit late last night! I should be back on track tomorrow morning! I've been drinking plenty of water and I am feeling A LOT better today! No dizzy spells! I am also concerned about my after photos on the 6th cause TOM is creeping up on the horizon and is scheduled to touch down on the 6th as well! Either way...even with a little bloating there should still be a significant change between my before and after pics!

As you've noticed I have quit posting what I have been eating...Reason for that is...I eat pretty much the same thing everyday! I have also reached my 30lb goal for this round and I am ECSTATIC!!! As of today I weigh 148.2 and I have lost a total of 15.5 inches! I just bought my first pair of size 7/8 pants (yes they are still a little snug, but they look GREAT on my ass!!) I still have 5 more days on the VLCD and then it is back to eating regular food, but with a few restrictions....NO SUGAR! NO STARCH! Which really shouldn't be a big deal! I have learned to LOVE my veggies and fruit and my confidence on following through with this diet has sky rocketed! Right now I only have 22.2 more lbs to lose until I reach my ultimate goal of 53lbs lost! At the rate I'm going...I should be at my wedding (and rest of my life) weight by February!!!!! I can't even begin to express how great I feel!!

Sorry I have not posted in awhile....My internet has been down :( I am still going strong! I am also almost at my 30lb goal for Round 1! YAY ME! I start the maintenance phase in 9 days! I am terrified! I am suppose to start eating 1500 calories which is quite the jump up from 500!! I have a very good understanding of what is needed to stay healthy(food wise). I am taking after photos on November 7th and I will post those as soon as I take them! There should be a noticeable difference considering I have lost a total of 13 inches all over! I am also down a full pant size and bra size(unfortunately on the bra size) :( Round 2 will start on December 11th! So I am safe this Holiday season! I will be on phase 3 over thanksgiving and on the VLCD come Christmas! Thank goodness I am dedicated and motivated!

Today was another shitty day. I'm starting to feel very frustrated! I am up .2lbs today. My eating habits are the same, I'm taking the drops like I am suppose to yet for some reason I am at a stall....UGH!!!! I have tried the laxative tea, the apple day and I have cut out my afternoon fruit! All I can think is my lack of cardio is affecting my weight loss. For the last week and a half I have not been able to get to the gym like I use to. Between being sick, being out of town and being on my period the last week has sucked! I am still down 24.8lbs in 31 days, but I was still hoping for better results! So for the last 18 days of the VLCD I am going to make a point of going to the gym everyday to get in my 30 mins of cardio...After that when I'm on the maintenance phase I am going to go balls out at the gym!!!! I have 18 days to mentally and physically prepare myself to get up at 4am every morning to do 1 hr of cardio and when Ryan gets home go back to the gym and do another hour of cardio and a half hour of resistance training!! I may not lose weight on the maintenance phase but by god I better lose some damn inches! Cause I know the number isn't what counts! It's the inches lost that change the way you look and feel! I WILL be a size 8 by my wedding damn it!!!!!

I went out of town this last weekend, so sorry for the lack of postings! Yesterday I did an apple day since I stalled out Sat., Sun., and Mon. As of this morning I am down 1.2lbs. bringing me to a total of 25lbs lost in 30 days! Not too shabby. I also just finished my period and getting over a cold, so I will resume going to the gym tonight! I haven't gone to the gym in awhile and I am quite positive that had something to do with my up and down weight loss. I have 19 days left to the VLCD phase of my diet! I am hoping to lose another 10lbs by then! If not...I'll settle for an even 30lb weight loss! Round 2 starts just before Christmas! While I'm on maintenance phase (phase 3 of this diet) I'll probably post every other day! Depending on my mood! :) The plan is to hit the gym EVERYDAY of the maintenance phase!!!!!! not just to keep the weight off, but to tone up before the wedding! For those of you who haven't done the math I have lost a total of 10 inches all over in 4 weeks!! I am almost at my bust goal, but still have another 11 inches to lose on my waist and 5.5 inches to go on my hips!!! The gym sure definitely come in handy in the inches department! Only .5 inches to lose on bust and hopefully I stop losing up top after I lose that 1/2 an inch!! otherwise my new nickname will be "mosquito bite"! lol

So...I have failed to post the last couple days. On top of being on my period, I have also come down with a cold..UGH..My weight loss has still been slowing, but it is holding a consistent .4lb loss for the last couple days. At this rate I should lose at least 10 more lbs by the end of the 49 days. Seeing as a was only expecting to lose 30lbs this round, if I lose another 10 it will put me at a total of 33.4lbs. I know it is a good number, but I am a sucker for instant gratification! I have measurements again this Saturday. I don't think there will be a significant inch loss since I've only lost 1.8lb so far this week. Maybe next week will be better!

Considering I started my period this morning...I'm pretty happy with my results! I lost a whole 1.5" off my waist and .8lbs. Today was a pretty hard day. I've noticed that when there is not a lot for me to do around the house "The Hunger" attacks. And of course when "The Hunger" hits the "Mood Monster" is in full swing!! I guess I just have to remember to keep myself busy!!!

So...I realized this morning I was a week off when calculating my period. It actually starts tomorrow which would make sense of yesterdays weight GAIN! I am no longer disappointed! Seeing as most all women retain water during their menstrual cycle. Which also means I am more than pleased with todays weight LOSS! A little tired today. Not a lot of energy, but it is the end of the week and the monsters take a lot out of me! I'm looking forward to taking it easy this weekend with the family.

Very disappointed with today :( I don't know if it had to do with the onion I ate (since it's the first time I've eaten an onion on this diet) or because I hadn't had a snack the last couple days so my body hung on to it....Pretty clueless right now! I didn't feel any different yesterday, but I am approaching my period soon so maybe I'm already starting to retain water........? Well....tomorrow is another day so we'll see how it goes! I have measurements coming up again on Saturday, so wish me luck!!

Today was a good day. My sis and mom came to visit w/ the baby muppet. I think "The Hunger" is officially under control, especially since I keep forgetting to eat my damn snacks. I have been feeling a little more light headed than usual, so I am assuming that is from the lack of calorie intake. I need to remember tomorrow. I went to the gym today. I spent 30mins on the treadmill, did a 30min AB circuit and spent 30mins in the sauna. It felt awesome! Let's see if it pays off tomorrow.

Ok...so...I couldn't wait 'til later to post this!! I lost 2lbs today and that loss has officially knocked me down into the 150's...159 to be exact!! I have this overwhelming feeling of accomplishment! I knew I would lose weight on this diet, but I never imagined I'd lose just shy of 20lbs in 15 days! I am beginning to feel like a whole new person! On a side note to all of you that read this...my sister insisted I let everyone know about my "bathroom experience" this morning!! lol It is normal, on this diet, to go a few days with out a "bowel movement". The last couple days I had begun to feel slightly bloated and hadn't pooped so I took a laxative last night before. This is NOT against protocol. They recommend using the "Smooth move organic herbal laxative tea". However, my tea hadn't arrived yet so I used an over the counter brand. Needless to say, this morning I felt the affects. Yes it did assist me in losing the 2lbs, but laxatives are not to be used BY ANY MEANS to lose weight. Excessive use can cause damage to your insides. Only use as recommended. I do feel better and my bloating has subsided. AND did I forget to mention......
I"M IN THE 150's!!!!! YEE HAW!!!

Yay for measurements! I am definitely losing inches...6 inches all over to be exact! AND...It's only been 2 weeks!! However, my weight loss today was not very impressive :( Hopefully tomorrow the scale will decide to be my friend! I accidentally forgot to eat my snack today so I am hoping that does not affect my weight in a negative way! Only 1.1lbs to go until I am officially in the 150's! Here's hoping I'll get to see those numbers tomorrow! My fingers are crossed!!!!!

So...we ended up not doing measurements, cause Ryan had to work early! Measurements are scheduled for Sunday morning! Today was a pretty easy day (as far as the diet goes). I had plenty of stuff to keep my mind off of eating. My sister came over w/ my niece and we had a play date with the daycare kids! I also made cinnamon rolls for the kids and surprisingly I did not get those crazy hunger pains when smelling the yummyness! It's been getting a little easier everyday!

All I have to say is WOW! 1.2lbs lost today! I am sooo happy! It's been a couple days since I hit a lb+! Almost to that 150 mark! Today my hunger seems to be under control! No cravings! No hunger pains! Last night was a different story. My hunger definitely got the best of my attitude. I had a hard time focusing and even keeping a conversation w/ Ryan. I HATE when "The Hunger" hits. It's totally mood altering. I did skip the fruit at snack time which is probably why I felt so hungry, but the reason I skipped the fruit is to get my body losing weight again. It's ok to do that as long as you make up the calories with the veggies and proteins equally! I'm skipping my snack fruit again today to see if it helps with the weight loss. I don't know if I mentioned it before, but I drink a gallon of water A DAY! It helps to flush the fat out of the system...so I'm told! So far it seems to be working! I will be taking measurements Friday morning(Tomorrow) instead of Saturday morning since Ryan has to leave early. It's one day sooner, but I don't think one day will make that big a difference! I'll post them tomorrow to show how I did!

I didn't go to bed last night hungry...VERY surprising! I think it was do to watching "The Biggest Loser" knowing this diet will help me to NOT become an eligible contestant! :) However I am very excited....I only have 4 more lbs to lose before I am officially in the 150's! I haven't seen that weight in over 8 years!!!!! I have also noticed my clothes are fitting better. I actually had to wear a BELT yesterday...How cool is that!!??
I have had a lack of energy the last couple days, but I found that it is normal. Days 5-9 have been reported tough and also a turning point for some, so that was encouraging! Right now I am concentrating on a goal of .5lbs of weight loss a day. I feel, for myself, that 1-2lbs a day is unrealistic since I really don't have a lot of fat to lose!
I have measurements again Friday and I am fairly certain I'll see some good results!
